Yosui-en (cultivated green garden) in Nishihama is so beautiful in rainy season. The garden has about 1,100 Japanese black pine trees on its 33,000㎡ site. This year unfortunately the situation of the hydrangeas aren’t very good. However you can enjoy multiple color of gemlike flowers scattered in a manly green pine tree world. The cool wind blowing through the pond is also comfortable.
There are flamingos being kept at Wakayama Castle zoo. I would like to ask you some questions, dear flamingos; ・Why do you stand with one leg? ・Isn’t it difficult to stand on one leg? ・How can you keep your balance with one leg while you are sleeping?
The beautiful hydrangeas are blooming in Turunotani (crane valley) where you go down the stairs from Sunanomaru square to Ninomaru. You can enjoy walking in the path of hydrangeas or taking photos of your girlfriend among the flowers. The oldest green stone walls also look beautiful in the rain and good match with the hydrangeas.
Among the environment of deep green foliage, the paper-play-show of “The story of Wakayama Castle” was conducted twice today at the base of the Castle. On the first show, audience of 22 and on the second, 18 watched the show. On the first show, 5 vistors from Hong Kong also joined. They seemed to enjoy the show even though they could not understand the narrations in Japanese.
