楓の木 at 東照宮　The maple tree at Tosyogu shrine

東照宮の楓の木です。新芽が出るまで葉が落ちないと言う事で有名な木です。

四月になり新芽が出て、古い葉が全て落ちていました。

It is a maple tree at Toshogu shrine which is widely known that the leaves do not fall untill new buds come out. I saw the tree in April and all the old leaves have fallen away.
