クジャク at 和歌山城・動物園　Peacocks at Wakayama Castle zoo

クジャクは夏の間は羽毛が抜けますが、寒くなってくると羽毛が生えだします。その準備でしょうか、和歌山城・動物園のクジャクは羽毛の手入れに余念が無いようでした。

Peacocks lose hair at summer time.  But as the weather gets colder, feather begins to get thick. I presume that they are preparing for the winter, as they seem to be considering nothing but taking care of their feather.
