鳥 at 和歌山城・動物園　Birds at Wakayama Castle zoo

和歌山城・動物園の鳥です。鳥が集まっている光景を見ると、いつも雄一匹にメスが多数います。鳥の世界は一夫多妻制の様に見えます。しかし実際は、雄は卵を産まないので活かしてくれないだけなのです。

They are birds at Wakayama Castle zoo. Whenever we see scenes of birds gathering, there is one male and a lot of females. In the bird’s world, polygamy seemed to be prevailing. But in actual situation, males are not allowed to exist because they don’t produce eggs.
